omarchy-plugins

  • QML
  • Quickshell
  • JavaScript
  • Bash
  • Hyprland
  • jq

I use Omarchy, an Arch Linux and Hyprland setup, every day, so I wrote plugins for its bar. Stocks scrolls a Wall-Street-style ticker tape of your symbols in the theme's green and red; click it for sparklines, a chart with ranges, key stats and a currency switch, all from Yahoo Finance with no API key. Agent Watcher puts every Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and OpenCode session in one pill, grouped by workspace, and blinks when an agent in a window you are not looking at finishes or needs a permission; click a row to jump to it. Both are MIT-licensed, with their logic in plain JavaScript covered by Node tests.

  • The Stocks panel open under the bar: AAPL, NVDA, SPCX and GOOGL with sparklines and daily change, and a one-day chart of Apple with its key stats.
  • The Agent Watcher panel: four sessions, Claude working, Gemini waiting, Codex done and OpenCode idle, each with its folder, plus the hooks section with 4 of 4 installed.

Stocks puts a Wall-Street ticker tape in the Omarchy bar.

  • Any Yahoo Finance symbol: stocks, ETFs, crypto, currencies, indices. No API key.
  • A panel with sparklines, a chart with 1D to 1Y ranges, and key stats.
  • A currency switch that converts every price with live exchange rates.
  • Colours follow the desktop theme; tape speed, width and symbols are one command each.

Agent Watcher keeps every AI coding agent in one pill.

  • Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and OpenCode sessions, grouped by workspace.
  • Each session is working, waiting for you, done or idle, and the pill blinks when one in another window changes.
  • Click a row to jump to its window, even on another workspace.
  • Hooks are switched on and off from the panel, with a backup before every change. Nothing leaves the machine.

Both were built in two days in August 2026, with a written spec and plan first, and about 70 Node tests between them.
